THE THREE EXPECTATIONS

 

During the course of earning my four-year degree in Business Admini-stration with concentrations in Business Management and Marketing, I learned a lot about myself and about my priorities. Largely because of this, I chose to begin my professional life as a Land Specialist rather than managing a retail store or working in a marketing firm. I am passionate about land and the opportunities it provides for people like you! Because of this, I take my chosen profession and my duties toward my clients very seriously. Here is a brief summary of how we here at Country Lakes and Farms help people like you fulfill your dreams of property ownership:

 

 
1.  THIS IS WHAT YOU CAN EXPECT FROM ME
    A. I have personally walked every single property - these are not listings I printed from a computer.
  B. Honesty and frank assessments of the real estate in question.
  C. Familiarity with the area.
  D. Full attention to your needs (I listen).
  E. Appropriate property suggestions based upon your specific needs.
  F. Property suggestions with layouts that meet the needs of your entire family.
  G. I am a trained Land Specialist - I show, on average, 2 or 3 houses per year. Most of my time is devoted to Guaranteed-buildable, vacant land.
  H. Knowledge of properties - Fishing, type of frontage, building sites, exposure, etc.

3. IN RETURN, THIS IS WHAT I EXPECT FROM YOU
  A. Honesty about what you want, what you can afford, the area that is right for you, and your specific needs - help me help you by answering questions honestly.
  B. Agreement by all the decision makers involved in the investment - spouse, business partner, children, etc.
  C. Preparedness to walk the property - appropriate scheduling, attire, etc.
  D. Emotional and Financial preparedness to invest in property.
  E.

You must have made the decision to make a decision if and when we find the property that is right for you. On a weekly basis, I speak with people who found the "right property" 2 or more years ago, but did not take advantage of their opportunity. They are calling me because they still have not found another property that feels like the first one or because any replacements they have found are not affordable. Many of them eventually give up completely. You don't want this to happen to you, and I don't want to be part of an experience like this.

  F. Keep the appointment agreed upon with all parties present.
  G. Be willing to complete government mandated paperwork (disclosure of agency) before leaving the office or restaurant to view the land.
  H. Have planned in advance what you will do when we walk on the right property.
 

 

Now, just to be certain that we are "on the same page", let me assure you that I immensely enjoy helping people like you fulfill their dreams. This is a fun and exciting time!
